Hobuza 30-Day Return & Refund Policy

At Hobuza, we stand behind the "Professional's Standard" of our 21V outdoor power tools. To ensure fairness and manage the high logistics costs associated with heavy equipment and Lithium-Ion batteries, our policy is as follows:

1. 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • Condition for Non-Defective Returns: The item must be Brand New, Unused, and in Original Packaging. Once a chainsaw has made contact with wood/dirt or a battery has undergone charging cycles, it is considered "Used" and is ineligible for a "Buyer’s Remorse" return.

2. Defective or Damaged Items (Quality Issues)

If your Hobuza tool arrives damaged or fails to operate due to a manufacturing defect:

  • Evidence Required: You must provide high-quality photos or videos showing the defect [cite: 2026-01-28]. We value authenticity; real, unpolished footage (captured in natural light) is preferred for faster verification [cite: 2026-01-28].

  • Resolution: We will offer a Full Replacement or a Partial Refund if you choose to keep the tool for minor cosmetic issues. Hobuza covers all costs for verified quality issues.

3. Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Safety Warning

IMPORTANT FOR BATTERY PACKS: Due to US Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations, physically damaged or leaking Lithium-Ion batteries are strictly prohibited from being mailed back.

  • If your battery is damaged, do NOT ship it. Send us photographic evidence, and we will ship a replacement while you dispose of the damaged unit at a local hazardous waste center.

4. Buyer’s Remorse (Change of Mind)

If you wish to return an item for personal reasons (e.g., "too powerful," "wrong size"):

  • Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the Actual Return Shipping Cost to our designated warehouse.

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% Restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the initial shipping subsidy and inspection labor.

5. Safety Compliance & Warranty Voidance

Hobuza tools are professional-grade equipment.

  • Warning: Use of our tools without proper Safety Gloves and Goggles is a violation of our safety guidelines [cite: 2026-01-28].

  • Warranty Voidance: Any damage resulting from improper use, unauthorized disassembly of the 21V battery, or failure to follow safety protocols will void the return and warranty eligibility [cite: 2026-01-28].

6. How to Start a Return
